Events and Competitions

From time to time, Creative Intention Studio may host special events and competitions. These might be exclusive to CSI, or they me be in collaboration with another organisation or like minded group.

Our latest events or competitions and associated terms and conditions will be available via this page. If you or your organisation wish to hold your own, and would like CSI to host, or assist in some way, please contact us with your proposal for consideration.

Northern Territory Photography Group Competition - November 2023 (NT Facebook Group - Join here)

This FREE TO ENTER Photography competition is only open to members of the Northern Territory Photography Group.

Just in time for Christmas. The first ever photography competition hosted by Creative Intention Studio, and in association with the Northern Territory Group (Facebook Group).

​

We are excited to be the main sponsors of this event, The main prize and also the six runners up will each receive a hand printed Fine Art Giclee enlargement.

The six runners up will each receive a free A3 size Fine Art print of their shortlisted entry.

The Winner will also receive a large A2 Fine Art custom photographic enlargement of their winning entry.

We don't like to be bound by scenes, caveates and conformity, therefore (to make things interesting) this is an open category competition. We simply ask you to be the best critique of your own work and submit "Your Best Pic".

What's more, the Judges will shortlist all entries to a final six images (these will be displayed here and also on the facebook group page for voting.

The winner will be chosen by a member poll... YOU ARE THE JUDGES of your own competition.

So don't be shy, get cracking erm... shooting, and get your entries in (no more than two entries per person).

Summary of the entry T's and C's

  1. Northern Territory Photography Group (Facebook) Open Competition “Pic Your Best Pic”, ‘The Comp’ commences 1st November, winner drawn 1st December 2003, by Group Member Votes.

  2. The Competition runs for 3 weeks from 1st November 2023 until 24th Nov 2023.

  3. Entries close on 22nd November 2023.

  4. This is an OPEN category. Colour or Black & White. There is no restriction and no limit to your creative purpose (bound by the terms and conditions as published).

  5. Limited to no more than two (2) entries per person.

  6. The winner will be announced on 1st December 2023 on the CIS web page, and also Social media outlets including Facebook, Instagram and associated web sites.

  7. The winner will receive a custom A2 Fine Art Giclee Enlargement (The Prize - Donated by Creative Intention Studio, Darwin). Framing and wall hanging is not included in the prize.
